I am extremely proud to announce that Glevum has won the Corporate Responsibility Initiative of the Year Award at the national Security and Fire Excellence Awards 2018.
Over the last few years Steve Barnett, my joint MD, has been holding workshops every month for people with learning difficulties & disabilities. These workshops include topics aimed at sharpening their employability skills so that they will become ready for employment.
Topics include interview skills, how to complete an application form and supporting candidates with work opportunity opportunities. We feel that it is important for us to give something back to the local community.
Glevum was one of seven companies nominated for the award at a ceremony held on 21st November at the prestigious Hilton on Park Lane Hotel in London and hosted by actor James Nesbitt.
Following on from our Gloucestershire Business Award last year, we are extremely proud that the work Glevum Security do in the community has been recognised nationally. It is of course a great honour for us, especially knowing that it is one of the top national Awards in Security and Fire Excellences.
