One of which we are most proud is being an SIA approved contractor. Set up by the Private Security Industry Act, 2001, the SIA inspectors visit security contractors to ensure they meet the organisation’s strict and rigorous standards. Approved contractors are required:
• To record and verify all means of income
• To consider all factors when arranging insurance
• To ensure compliance with all required work permits and visa conditions
• To maintain appropriate contact with the police
The SIA also require its members to maintain excellent customer service and ensure all its employees have the licenses they need.
